The American Civil War

 A Diary Extract

1860:
Hay problemas en nuestro país. La gente en el del norte viven en ciudades, pero en el sur, ellos viven en plantaciónes y poseen esclavos. Los propietarios de plantación quieren mantener a sus esclavos, pero la gente en el norte quiere querer suprimir la esclavitud. Ellos dicen es cruel.

Abraham Lincoln es ahora Presidente de USA.Él quiere acabar  con la esclavitud. La gente del surd quieren salir de la Union i tener su propia nación, llamada Los Estados Confederados de America, o Confederacion. Pero Lincoln quiere conservar el país juntos. Qué pasara?

THE USA FOR MI IS

THE STATUE OF LIBER:

The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture  in New York.

France paid for the statue and the United States paid for the pedestal.

The statue weighs 204,11.72 kg.

40 people can stand in the head. 




THE AMERICAN FLAG:
The 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 states of the Unitde States of American and the 13 stripes represent the thirteen British colonies that declared independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain and became the first states in the Union.

In 1777, governament officials passed the Flag Act.





THE WHITE HOUSE:

Architect James Hoban started to construct the White Hopyuse in 1792 and finished it in 1800.

It is the official  house president.





THE GRAND CANYON:

The Gran Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, is the state of Arizona in the southwest of the USA.
